Mike, I'm pretty sure that Mustang runs low-14s, not 11s. > posted by Z-Jay (Edmonton) on June 28, 2002 at 11:12 AM |

I can`t say I like defending the mustang but facts are facts. A bone stock GT like that one will run a 13 sec. time if the driver is capable. Anyone proud of a 14 second time is pitifully confused. And as I have owned 9 mustangs I can tell you that car may not be modded to the max, but it isn`t stock. The intake isn`t stock, neither are the headers. I`d be willing to bet he`s got gears and probably a cam. You can get a stang into the 11`s for about two thousand dollars, maybe 2500. All it takes is an intake(400 dollars), heads(1100 dollars) gears(400 dollars), and a camshaft(200 dollars) I`ve spent that much and then some on my Z and it runs a 12 second time. You have to give credit where it`s due, and mustangs are fast cars when they want to be.
